Describe:

The iridescent bird (or silver earring) is a small bird (about 18 cm in size). The bird has prominent multicolored feathers with a yellow bill, black head, white cheeks, orange neck and upper chest, gray-green back with red markings on the wings and yellow-green underside. The female is lighter in color than the male and has no red patches on her neck.

Description:

Silver-eared mesia is small songbird  (about 18 cm). It has distinctive and colorful plumage with yellow bill, black head, silver-grey ear-coverts, orange-yellow throat and upper breast, grey-green upperparts with red patch on wing and yellow-green underparts. The female is paler than male and lack of red patch in its throat.
