Kanye West admits to being ‘scared’ of GOAT JAY-Z when he first worked with him

Kanye West, the iconic rapper and producer, recently opened up about his initial experiences working with JAY-Z, one of hip-hop’s most revered figures.

In a candid interview, West confessed to feeling intimidated by JAY-Z, acknowledging his status as a “GOAT” (Greatest of All Time) in the rap game. Reflecting on their early collaborations, West admitted to being nervous and even scаred of JAY-Z’s presence and reputation.

Despite his own considerable talent and success, West revealed a sense of awe and respect for JAY-Z’s mastery of the craft. However, as they continued to collaborate and build a rapport, West found his confidence growing, eventually establishing himself as a formidable force in the industry in his own right.

This admission showcases the humility and vulnerability behind West’s persona, humanizing a figure often associated with brash confidence. It also speaks to the power dynamics and complexities inherent in creative partnerships, where even established artists can grapple with feelings of insecurity when collaborating with their idols.

West’s journey from intimidation to collaboration with JAY-Z serves as a testament to the transformative potential of artistic collaboration and the evolution of personal growth within the competitive landscape of hip-hop.
